Apartment Churchill-laan

In september 2020 we finalised a full renovation of a ground floor apartment in the Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam.

We designed 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a walk in closet, washing room, kitchen, living and dining area.

The aim of the design was to keep the feel of the original apartment, using the tones and materials of the 20’s/30’s.

Warm and neutral tones, travertin, marble, soft greens, greys, bronze, stained glass and chevron natural wooden flooring.

The fireplace is part of the living area with built in drawers for all the childrens toys and functions as extra seating space.

The kitchen is the centerpiece of the apartment, in between the dining area and living space.

The dark stained oak fronts combined with Jura Grau natural stone countertops gives the apartment a warm contemporary vintage look.

Opposite the kitchen island extra storage space was created by adding ceiling high cabinets with stained glass to create transparency and light.
